The Coolest Transformers (that you should own if you already don’t)

June 22, 2009

Who are the “Coolest Transformers” exactly? While there isn’t a definitive list, the majority of us will tend to agree that the perennial favourites are the leaders of the Autobot and Decepticon factions, Optimus Prime and Megatron. We can pretty much agree that both of them are pretty friggin’ cool, but that leaves us with some Tranformers that come to mind immediately and some that are a little more obscure. The focus will be more on Generation 1 because I’m a fanboy like that 🙂

Keep in mind that this post is merely an approximation of who the coolest are.

The criteria for being selected into the Top 10 was solely based on their character and how awesome it would be to add them to a collection.

Here are the Top 10 Coolest Transformers from Generation 1! Read the rest of this entry »

Update from Dark Horse Cafe as of June 7, 2009 + Bonus Video from TFSK07 #TFSK09

June 7, 2009

A quick update on what’s been going on as of June 7, 2009. Also a little bonus with a sketch that Udon Studios comic artist and formerly of Dreamwave Productions, who worked on the “Tranformers Energon” comic, Joe Ng! A bit of a sidenote, Joe Ng graciously donated his talents back in 2008, in designing the Transforming for SickKids “Empowered” logo that you see on the top left corner of each page 🙂

Check out Joe sketching a headsketch of a Generation 1 Megatron. Enjoy 🙂

Hasbro Shipment Arrived!

June 4, 2009

Hiya Sports Fans!

Yesterday the Hasbro Shipment arrived and the aftermath looked as if a “Transformers Hurricane” had hit my basement and dumped a whack load of Transformers there (in pristine condition of course 🙂

I had a lot of fun shooting the video, opening the boxes and showing all of you Transformers fans out there, as well as what the possibilities are for the Hasbro Prize Packages that my team is assembling! It was so much fun even my mum dropped in on the fun!

What I found was a mix of everything, from Generation 1 (for you ‘purists’ out there), Animated Series, and of course toys from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie. Read the rest of this entry »

Team TFSK Update #1

May 31, 2009

Hey all,

A few people have been wondering and asking what is this “#TFSK09”?

Some questions I’ve had were:

“Is it a new strain of the H1N1 virus?”
” Does it stand for “The Foolish Seek Knowledge?”
“WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU EXCITED FOR WITH THESE UPDATES AND STUFF ON FACEBOOK/TWITTER? WHAT IS IT?!? GIMME MORE INFO DAMMIT!”

Quite simply this is a Transformers Fans’ Dream and a fundraising extravaganza like none other! TFSK09 stands for (if you hadn’t guessed already ;), Transforming for SickKids Initiative 2009. We’ve got some disgustingly awesome prize packages lined up for Transformers and non-Transformers fans, so there’s a little bit of something for everyone with details to be revealed SOON!

This year, we aim to eclipse our previous efforts of 2007 and 2008 combined. We are passionate members of the Toronto Twitter, Tech, Blogging and Social Media Scenes about to cause a stir and demonstrate how a swift action, backed by a clear vision and purpose can raise the profile and make a real impact for causes that you truly care for.
